How long does delivery take?
We process orders within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri). Transit then takes 3–7 business days, so most parcels arrive within 4–9 business days in New Zealand and the USA.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing. Shipping is free on every order to New Zealand and the United States.
Is there an order cut-off time?
Yes. Orders placed before 5:00 pm New Zealand time on a business day start processing the same day.
How do I track my parcel?
As soon as your order leaves us, you get an email with a tracking link.
When should I order for 1 December?
To be safe, order at least 9 business days before 1 December.
2Returns & exchanges
Can I return a calendar?
Yes, within 60 days of delivery, as long as it is new and unused. Faulty or not, both are fine.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email info@advent-world.com with your order number. We reply with the return address within 1–2 business days. Returns are sent by post and return shipping is paid by the customer.
When do I get my money back?
Within 7 days of your return arriving with us, to your original payment method. There is no restocking fee.
My calendar arrived damaged. What now?
Send us your order number and a photo within 60 days. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, and we cover the return.

Which payment methods can I use?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
Do prices include tax?
In New Zealand, prices are in NZD and include GST. In the USA, prices are in USD and sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Checkout runs on Shopify’s encrypted platform and we never see your full card details.
4About the calendars
When do I open the first door?
On 1 December, then one door a day until Christmas. Our nativity calendar has 25 doors and ends on Christmas Day.
What is the difference between wooden and acrylic?
Many ornament calendars come in both. Wooden pieces have a natural, matte look; acrylic pieces are glossy with brighter colours. Both have the same 24 designs.
Are the drink calendars real drinks?
No. Our champagne, gin, cocktail and wine calendars contain decorative bottle ornaments only, no beverages.
